It isn't easy getting people to fill out 30 minute surveys, so giving the consumer an incentive makes it a bit easier.
Some of these companies do have a free computer offer. When you research and sign up for them, just be sure to enter in all your information correctly, and then proceed to complete the entire survey. You can't skip any steps they may require. A computer will not show up tomorrow, most of mine took 6-8 weeks. Just think, one hour of work for a free one, or 2 weeks of slaving at your job to pay for one. I know which one you will pick.
